Reviews for Johnson County Park

| Great find!

This place was great! It's a fair grounds with lots of rv sites. Most were empty as we came through the week after the fair. We chose a pull through away from everyone near the stadium and had full hookups. There was no one in the office but I had read on the website that full hookups were $25 a night. We left a check in the door slot before we left. It was quiet and peaceful with sprawling grass fields and a lot of geese. The sunset was beautiful. We will definitely stop here when we pass through. Also the little town of Franklin had lots of restaurants and shopping. Across the street from the fairgrounds was a yummy frozen custard shop.

We stopped at this county campground for an overnighter and was very pleased. Only $16 gets you electric and water hookups. Dump site available. Nice shower house. Quiet. Nice staff on phone as we came after office closed and used drop box to pay. If ever this way again, won't hesitate to stop.

No tents. Clean bath house. Level sites. Great park for visiting Indy.

| Great stop

Very clean park well kept. Level gravel sites some with shade , many pull through for bigger rigs. Close to the x-way and stores but still very quiet. Hot showers in bathrooms probably cleaner than yours at home. Strong Verizon too. All that for $25 March 2018. Sites are packed in a little tight with no seperation. But lots of room to stretch your legs

Looks like a lot of locals coming in, and what a great place for them to camp. Close to national guard training area. Clean and tidy, pleasant folks. No discounts..25.00 ok, but no sewer.

The sites are open, wide, easy to navigate a larger rig. Not much shade. Electric and water (no sewer) - I love that there is about a mile of open grassy field next to the camp so I can walk the dogs. It has been raining for days. I've stayed at two other campgrounds and this is the only one that has been dry. Lots of concrete. $25.00 exactly.
