This Park is outstanding. Beautiful Pecan Grove with long concrete sites. Fair pricing. Great customer service. Neat rental hall decorated like an old west town. Not shown in pics but on there web site. Worth the drive. Good WiFi!! I would rate this park a 5 star.

This is very quiet park. Spots are spaced enough for limited privacy. Grounds are immaculate. Hosts were nice. Plenty of full timers but their spaces are well managed. Deer are in the pecan groves. Plenty of trees but their spacing does not provide much shade and in 97 deg weather the AC struggles. However, the pool is cool and refreshing. Nice creek in back of park.

This park is clean from the bathrooms to the grounds. Very friendly staff. Western Town Dining hall was wonderful, like that old time feel and look. The creek was as pretty in person as it is on the website. I would recommend this park to everyone.

JCRV Park is one of the best parks I have ever camped in. The grounds are kept neat and the Pecan orchard in the park is a good place to watch deer feeding. The facilities and all the public buildings are clean and well maintained. Johnson creek that runs through the park is a wonderful place to swim or fish. The owners and workers are very helpful for information about local attractions or eating places or fixing any problems you may have with your rig. I would recommend JCRV to any rv'er whether new or experienced.

I stayed at this park for the weekend and found the people as well as the staff just wonderful. They seem to have something going all the time, the western town hall is setup like back in the old western days. Enjoyed the creek and fishing. It's very peaceful and quite which is something that is just wonderful when getting away from stress at work. This is a must see and visit. This is a 5 star RV park.

Chuck Woodbury, editor of rvtravel newsletter, did a piece on this place a couple years ago when he was camped here. He never gave the name of the park, only saying that it was near Kerrville. As a result, we made reservations for a city park in Kerrville where it is hard to spot an Axis deer, and there is no wonderful pecan orchard, as there is here. If you would like to camp in a beautiful shaded area where Axis deer come out in low light, come here. This is the place!
