Very nice park, very quiet and has a great view of BAMC hospital. The only negative I see is no WiFi Internet.

Outstanding fam camp. Managers are friendly, cooperative and professional. Bathroom sinks are Wal Mart castoffs. I keep returning and wash my hands in my RV.

| Nice Place in San Antonio

Stayed for a month in Aug 2017 in 38' motorhome.Friendly and helpful staff. Limited supplies in office, sewer packets, toilet paper, hose connections, etc. All pull through sites and large enough for motorhome and toad. Picnic table and grill at all sites. WiFi only available on back porch of office. Train noise all hours but you get use to it or use earplugs. They take reservations which is a plus for a military RV site. Great access to San Antonio attractions. Would definitely stay again.

| Geronimo!

Fort Sam Houston is a lovely, historical post. I love the charm of the old buildings that are reminiscent of another time. The Geronimo Clock Tower and museum are a great way to spend an afternoon. The RV Park has spacious sites. The roads around the post are kind of in bad repair. Another plus is the convenience to downtown. We will be back.

The FamCamp is very well maintained. The staff is great. The trains sound their horns all night but that's why they make soft ear plugs. It's a bit of an adventure locating mainside because roads have been closed and not updated on mapping software. Use google earth to figure it out. The GPS is no help here because the locations of the PX, commissary, etc have not been updated. The ITT office is locatable with the mapping software after you figure out how to get to mainside from the FamCamp. The playground was very popular with the kids and is a decent size. There is a much larger park near by (on the way to mainside).

| Mostly agree with others

As others have said, the sites are a very nice size, great access to San Antonio and a very fair price. However, Wi-Fi would be really nice and, we do use the bathhouse at parks, so the lack of hot water and the marginal cleanliness was a negative. To be fair we arrived on Presidents Day so I imagine the staff was off for a number of days prior to our arrival. I definitely would come back but would expect better.

| Great price and location

Stayed overnight and since we travel with our young kids the covered park was awesome. The bathhouse was clean and had everything we needed. The spots were nice size with mature trees for shade.

Stayed in paved, pull-thru spot right across from coded, clean bathhouse with great showers; perfect location to explore San Antonio; base has commissary, PX, and Class 6; entire base to walk dogs and run!
