If you liked looking at ocean nature this is the place to go. nice level sites, knowledgeable and helpful personnel. very nice swimming pool, and laundry. stay right on the Gulf Coast side and watch the lobster and they congregate close to the wall but no touching but all the pictures you want to take . right in the middle of everything you could possibly think of wanting to do. have stayed there several times and will continue to return. price is moderate for the area. but well worth it. we are goodsam elite members and pull camper trailer.

We just spent 6 nights here. It is a bare bones campground in a fantastic location. There are Pros and Cons.... PROS: Right on the water Gorgeous Quiet Boat Ramp Pool is very nice Bathrooms are clean CONS: Sites are not level and require additional supplies to level any type of camper. The only supplies you can buy on site are laundry soap and ice and those have to be purchased during office hours which ends at 5pm- The closest store is a mile away. There is no trash pick up and the dumpster is located at the entrance of the campground which requires a long walk carrying your trash every day. The "free WiFi" does not allow streaming so it is not possible to watch movies or listen to music on the Wi-Fi. The picnic table on each site is next to the sewer hook up for your next-door neighbor. Yuck! The north end of the campground has a very strong sulfur gas smell from the marsh and can be overwhelming at certain times of day. Very limited shade which really matters in the intense sun of the Florida Keys. No shade whatsoever on the fishing dock No activities for kids other than the swimming pool. You are not permitted to reserve a specific site, only a site in a specific area of the campground. All in all we had a very nice time at this campground and we took full advantage of being on the water and using the swimming pool. The location is absolutely beautiful. In the end we just felt like the owners are doing the bare minimum to make it a nice place. We didn't find anyone especially friendly or helpful and we weren't aware of any security. It is about as basic as you can get in terms of amenities in a campground. The sites are cramped very close together and not level and there is a lot of odor. Finally....We made our reservation back in November and were told that there may not be one site for the entire time. And we may have to move on the last day. We were told they could likely move sites around and make it work. In the end somebody forgot about that and they ended up giving us another site in the campground not on the seawall for the last night. They offered us a 25% discount for the mistake.
