Reviews for Jonesburg Gardens Campground

| Over-night park, needs some maintenance

By user-2289004 on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2013-05-25 to 2013-05-26

OK for an over-night, but I would not choose this park for several days stay again. Interior roads are narrow with over-hanging tree limbs and bushes extending into the roadways. It's showing its age. Staff was very friendly but overall it's not a well-maintained park. There are derelict and abandoned trailers sitting around. They do have a lake for fishing. Wi-Fi was very unreliable over several days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night in a 39 ft. fifth wheel. This not a place for anything over 30 ft. And 10 ft tall. Grounds need help. My new rig was scratched because of all the bush's and trees hanging over or extending into the road ways. Playground looks dangerous, office and pool area is filthy. Owner is nice guy. He needs to get some help to clean the place up and trim the trees. I had to get on top of my rig to trim some limbs. Would not stay again.

Went here for the weekend with our 3 year old son looking forward to the swimming (pool was supposed to be open and heated "did not turn on the heater, because it is to expensive to run) at check in they told us. Playground had 2 slides MUCH needed repairs. Agee if needing a place to crash for a night ok... Weekend get away not so much. Wi-wi does not work (we were trying to come up with things to possibly do around town)

| Very friendly folks here.

Office/camp store filthy! In need of major cleaning! Campground was nice but not real easy to maneauver around in. Lots of trees! Good for small rigs! Flat/ level sites! $32.00 a night for full hookup.

Needs all trees trimed. Old camp ground but nice and clean. Tight turns and small spots. With all that I would stay again. I have a 25 ft camper

I have a 34 foot fifth wheel and a full size dually and thought the roads and site quite adequate. Pool was very clean and refreshing, especially after a long hot travel day. Some freeway noise but not bad. Herd of goats cute and interesting to watch

| Good for stopping for the night!

Owners were very nice as we rolled in at 11pm. Fit our class C 31 foot with 12 ft trailer! Level sites. Good dog area to walk them.

Ok for an overnight stop. Would try and avoid in future.

| Pricey, not well maintained

By user-5839521... on 2018-03-14.

First of all, the address is 15 route E (NOT Y). The owners were friendly and helpful. We arrived around 9pm (after getting lost and not able to turn around on route Y). But they checked us in and lead us to our spot, happily. It was $36, plus $5 for each person after the first two. So, our family of 4 paid $46 for this quick stop. In my opinion, it was pricey for the current state it is in. But our site was level and we had full hookups.

| Good For A Night

This place has definitely seen better days. Lots of junk RVs parked around, a pond with more algae than anything, over grown grass, no WiFi, the office smells terrible and looks nasty ... BUT... with that said... it's a good place to spend a night. Electric (30 amp), water, sewer all just fine. Pull through gravel sites fairly level. In a very rural area so very quiet and beautiful trees. A little on the expensive side for no amenities (no WiFi, no cable, no pool)..but the folks running the place were very nice. Good for a night without kids. (Nothing for kids to do)

| Convenient Overnighter

By user-4796177... on 2019-08-09.

Found this place on the RVParky App. Called them as we passed St Louis to verify that they had a spot, they answered promptly and were very friendly. They had no problem quickly getting us in at a late hour on short notice. The park is nice and quiet and very convenient off of I-70. The showers could have been a bit cleaner but they were nice and hot. They had everything that we needed. Laundry on site but was not open in the morning hours.
