Reviews for Joplin KOA

| Nice.

We stayed in the back side near the woods and it was very quiet. Everything seemed neat and orderly. The pool looked nice. We had a high dollar spot with a swing and charcoal grill. We were pleased and would stay here again. We stayed in a class A motorhome.

This place is very clean and pleasant. Amenities are dandy but the staff are outstanding. As RV renters knowing NOTHING about the whole thing and just starting the trip we ran into trouble. Not only did they help us solve our problems but they told us not to worry about checkout time and stay free as long as we needed to. This was a very good place to stay.

Level gravel spots with all facilities but no WiFi. Most spots have no grilling spots. I asked for a lower priced back in spot but they refused. Said I had to pay for the more expensive pull thru - or nothing. I wasn't happy but they were pretty adamant and arrogant. So my little 20ft RV paid for a big rig pull thru.

We headed north from Oklahoma into Kansas and then Missouri. This KOA is typical of the better KOA chain parks. Large easy to access sites. We were in a pull through at 88 and it was quite long. The utilities are tucked neatly in a light post that stays on 24/7. There were nicer sights that had swings and patio table/chairs on a concrete pad but we were just overnighting and opted for the simple picnic table. They have a small but grassy dog park. A nice fishing pond with ducks and free duck good at reception. Several nice cabins surround the pond. There is a section by the perimeter for long term but they were all neat and tidy. The cable only worked for a few channels for us but it was a new tv and I could have been operator error. Nothing to fault here, others talked about the highway noise but it was faint to our ears. All in all, a good stop

Being so close to the interstate, we were surprised it was so quite. Very clean, easy in and out. We stayed in an A class motorhome in the patio site.

Hwy. #44 -- Joplin, MO. Date Stayed: 6/28 - 6/29/16 Very nice stop campground with level sites, green grass & trees; staff very friendly. This is one of the nicer KOA's we've come across. Traveled with the grandkids which loved the pool, exploring the area and feeding the ducks around the pond. Not only had the RV sites but tent areas and cabins. Site #: 652 Rate: $47.00

We did a long term stay with them and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a little highway noise but not enough to be a concern. Quick response to anything we needed (ie LP). Would definitely stay here again.

One of my favorite RV park!! They make and deliver pizza!! Love this KOA. I have show dogs and they enjoy the dog park area.

| Plenty of trees

The people were friendly and helpful. There are a lot of trees for shade, grass and a small fishing pond. The sites are large and easy to set up. Our site was not very level, but not terrible.

We really enjoyed the large spaces, friendly staff and the park in general. We even took advantage of the fishing pond.

| Great stay, fun for kids, fishing ponds

By user-5411697... on 2019-08-09.

There are so many great things about this KOA. It is a serene location, very green with lots of grass areas for the kids to play in. The laundry facilities are very nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. We had a pull through full hookup lot for our travel trailer and we booked at the last minute. The kids were able to go fishing, play for hours on a very nice playground. Great value for the money. The bathrooms are dated, but they were clean. If you have toddlers or children that could drown- please note there are THREE unfenced ponds on the property. This was great fun for our bigger kids, but I would have been worried if they were toddlers! One pond is at the front, one is in the middle, and a large one at the very back. If you re looking for a great stop, stay here:)
