Huge area, lots of people and space. Large and shady spots, with electric and water hook up. $ 27 per night. Lots of water sports. Dump station. Gravel sites.
We stayed in Loop 2 and had a beautiful wooded spot just across the camp road to the lake. Electric and water hook ups with a dump station for the whole camp ground. (Might be busy on the weekend) Our loop was never full for the 2 weeks we were there and there are 3 other loops in this camp area. Had lots of rain so water was high and right up to some of the lake side tent sites. Some upgrades to bathhouse since last visit with sensor toilets and showers with good pressure. Easy drive to quaint Pittsboro for ice cream at the soda shop and close enough to Triangle locations like Raleigh, Apex and Cary for anything you might need or want.
