This was a bonus for a short stop over and a good nights rest. As I was setting up the local Police drove by and did not question my intent. Some early evening traffic, but otherwise quiet. There was one RV there when I arrived, plus a couple with a tent off to the side. When I awoke, another RV had arrived as well as a biker with a tent. The tress were lit in the holiday spirit, what a treat!
Lovely spot...was met by the parks employee Hoyt in the morning and graciously told me that the city council has decided that because of several bad apples there will be no more camping in the park for the foreseeable future.....if ever.
