Reviews for Kansas State Fairgrounds

By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23.

Terrible... spots are way to close. There were homeless people in the restrooms, not that you could use them because they were filthy. The windows and doors were left open and the wild life has taken over. Difficult to get in to and you don't know which gates will be left open. The clean up crew are prisoners from the local correctional facility.

At 20th and poplar entrance, go left of the pillars WHICH IS THE ENTRANCE, you'll be going NORTH. There are signs that have in big letters "RV." Stay straight (NORTH). Don't worry about the trees, they are trimmed. Keep going NORTH. You'll most likely be on the NORTH end of the park. There are other sites but they are locked for the fair. Parking is herringbone style, very little trees unless you are at the very West side of the NORTH end. Fencing everywhere, all the gates are locked except for the entrance. Cop shop on right as you enter. Very safe, feels like a military base.

| Decent full hook-up sites. Most days you enter on Poplar street at the main gate. You jog right, then drive clear across the fairgrounds. When you see treerows on both sides ,you are almost to the park entrance. There is a box with envelopes ...

| Nice stay

By user-5574333... on 2018-07-06. Stayed 2018-06-12 to 2018-06-13

Stayed overnight. No prior registration needed. Come in and grab your spot. Don’t forget to register with the self-service and drop your registration envelope with money into the mail box. Although the sites are close to each other there were only 3 RVs on site so plenty of room.
