Reviews for Kelly Park - Rock Springs

| Amazing Springs, Fun Tubing, Beautiful Park

We stayed here for 5 nights. Greeted very nicely by the main gate staff. The RV site we got was well maintained and level. The roads were well taken care of. Lots of wildlife! Raccoons, turkeys, deer, Hawks, owls, armadillos and turtles. Definitely try tubing! We bought our own tubes at Target for $5 each, or you can rent them for about $7 each at the rental place really close by. The park is crowded during the day, but we had it to ourselves after the park closes. Beautiful scenery. Easy to navigate in our 31' Class C. We will definitely be returning. Wanted to stay longer but it was booked for the weekend.

| Nice county run park

This campground is run by Orange County. You can make reservations up to 45 days in advance. Bathrooms are not air conditioned and the floor gets muddy from swimmers entering/exiting all day long. Good family park. You can walk to the springs to go swimming and tubing. The swimming areas get super crowded during the weekends and summer when kids are out of school since they are open to day-use folks. Sites are adequately sized and have gravel pads. I was surprised to see a lot of tent campers even though it was the middle of July. I will definitely return to this park.

The campground was rustic but maintained. Bathroom showers were small. No sewer but a dump station was available. We had a shady site and the first day a large oak branch fell and crushed our brand new screen room. Springs are very crowded during the summer months with local swimmers. Electricity and water were adequate. We had deer and turkey visit us.
