We stayed one night on our way through SD. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice grounds, and the park was only maybe 1/4 full so we had lots of space! The sites are plenty roomy, though, so I'd imagine even at full capacity it still would have been spacious enough. I'm a runner so I had a beautiful run though the tiny town and down some country roads. Ahhh those wide open spaces of South Dakota They also have a nice little open air cafe that opens certain days of the week for breakfast and dinner. Buffalo burgers and such. Fun!
Not a destination spot but adequate for a overnight stay on the way out west. Campgrounds were clean, facilities adequate, staff professional and friendly. There are very few supporting business at this exit being it s in the middle of rural South Dakota. Non of these are the fault of the KOA site just the reality of the location.
