| Nice Park, Especially for the Price

Started as a city park, sold to the state, then transferred back to the city in 2004. Quiet park along the Guadalupe River, although you can hear road noise from the highway every once in a while. Full Hook Up, but placement of sewer on side opposite to electricity and water is odd. Make sure everything can reach before you unhook. Our 38 foot fifth wheel fit fine. Close to town for supplies (HEB is less than 2 miles away) and to local activities, like the Kerrville Folk Festival. Pet friendly. For kids, it hosts family activities like a movie night on weekends. We travel to Kerrville every year, and plan to stay here when we do.

This is a lovely park, clean, and lots of trees. $26 for full hook-ups with 30 amp service. Great for an overnight. There is traffic noise, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
