Just got done with a two night stay here. They have a lot of sites with water and electric in the Tatanka campground. A little tight if you have a big rig but we have a twenty foot trailer and we had lots of options. Tatanka I'd reservation only until September 15th but after that it's first come first serve and there were only about four other campers in the campground. Very quiet, lots of wildlife. We saw pelicans, a badger, mule deer, and lots of pronghorn.

We stayed two nights in a beautiful location by the water with tall pines and did an easy day trip to Devils Tower National Monument. Clean park; no showers. Would have rated it 5 stars is there were showers.

| Pay extra for a car that's not towed?

Our biggest issue with this park and apparently all Wyoming state parks is that you have to pay double the rate if you bring in an extra car that is not being towed. If the same extra car is towed behind your RV, it's included in your regular camping fee. Sound confused? We were too, so we asked multiple park employees at two different parks. That is the rule. So, instead of paying $17 a night for water and electric, we ended up paying $34 a night only because our extra vehicle wasn't being towed. They have built showers near the entrance to the Tatanka loop, but they are pay showers which cost 50 cents every 3 minutes. There is a change machine located on the outside of the building. Our site was uneven. It hadn't rained in a long time so it was very dusty. The lake was beautiful! And it was fairly quiet during the week we were there. It is a good ways from things, with a small (limited stock) grocery store about 12 minutes away. Cell signal for AT&T was showing on the map as 4G LTE, but we were lucky to get 2 bars of regular 4G and it was not very reliable especially on the weekend when the campground had more people. We did get to see mule deer, pronghorn antelope and magpies for the first time. We won't stay again and will probably avoid Wyoming State Parks all together unless we end up towing our second vehicle.

We stayed for three nights. All the amenities of a park. We even got satellite and had the best view. I highly recommend this park. More spacious than any RV park
