We stayed March 2016. Was recently open. Friendly staff, very clean resort. Great views as this resort is waterfront and close to most all needs. We can't wait to go back

GREAT VIEWS, CLEAN CAMPGROUND, CLOSE TO DIVING
By user-6264615... on 2018-05-17.
Stayed 2018-05-10 to 2018-05-17
Stayed for a week here and felt safe, secure. Well maintained campground next door to Amoray Dive shop so, if you dive or snorkel, very conveniently located. Yes, John Pennekamp state campground is cheaper but you have to reserve at least 11 months out and with the weather variations, hard to say if you'd be able to stay. Plus, there are no water views in Pennekamp park. Milltary and public service discount which was an added bonus.

Secure and Safe

Very easy to park a 26 travel trailer. Easy hookups that are all together. Nice spot to put in a kayak. Monster blue crabs and lots of mangrove snappers to catch from the dock. (Use a slIp bobber and small hook with a small piece of cut bait.) Stayed 5 days and loved it. Very clean pool and hot tub. Management was A+.

Top 10 for us!
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
One of the nicest RV parks we ve experienced! Very clean/neat, white gravel pads that are pretty level, nice paver patios, a picnic table and the most brilliant site separator-fully grown and nicely trimmed shrubbery that allows privacy and is lovely to look at.
The power/water pedestals are marine grade with hooks to hang your extra cord or hose, and they are lit at night. I ve never seen this anywhere else - brilliant.
The pool: resort feel, large, lots of umbrellas and loungers and it s right on the water. There s a little sand covered jetty on the water that also has loungers and umbrellas.
Behind the jetty is a shallow launch basin for kayaks/paddle boards, all just steps from your front door! I spent a lot of time paddling up and down the shoreline. Lovely sunsets!
Beautiful public facilities with spotless showers and baths. Nice laundry with two washers and dryers.
Last but not least: the staff! They bend over backward to help. A special shout out to Patty! You re awesome!

$200 a day and construction has been going on the entire time. We have had to listen to backhoes and workers from sunrise to sunset. Workers walk through everyone's sites instead of walking around.

Called several times trying to make a reservation. What business does not ever answer their phone.
