Reviews for King's Riverbend Park

| Convenient Shady simple place to stay

By user-5849548... on 2017-10-23.

Please note the pricing is way off on RV Parky. It is $48.00 for two people and $55.00 for three!! This is a simple gravel site with shade trees and hookups. Nothing special so seems a little pricey for what you get. The host was friendly who checked us in.

| Also note they only accept cash or checks

Be prepared to pay with cash or check. No credit cards. Seems a little old school for 2017 and how much they charge for a site.

| 2017 Greyhaven visit 38' Class A towing

We stayed here 1 night in our Class A motor home. Convenient to shopping and medical facilities, near Wal-Mart and Target in Montrose. Basic level gravel site, back in along the fence, 30' wide, full hook up, $48. Please note they take CASH OR CHECKS ONLY, no credit cards. Friendly helpful hosts who moved us from an end site (side by side big rigs) to the back in by the fence. Campground is on the Unvompaghre River, river sites available. Some tent sites, about 10 camper cabins, no pool. Adjacent to nice park with ponds and dog walking trail.

Stayed 1 night... $ w tax, cash paid, stayed right on river, so beautiful. Owner met us before I could get out of truck and got us to our spot.. has full hookups, laundry, showers, no pool, trees, fishing if you want.. plenty of places to walk nearby, ponds, parks.. even Walmart across the road. Very nice place, they even have full timers here for the summer...we would definitely stay here again...

This park is relatively close to home for us, but we have stayed a few times during local events. Peg is the sweetest gal to talk to, and even though I waited until the last minute to make last weekend's reservation, she was gracious and got us a nice spot. It has level gravel spots, lots of mature trees and beautiful landscaping. We didnt use the bath house or laundry facilities. Next time I will call sooner and request a beautiful riverside spot! It was $50/night which is not cheap, but to us it is worth the price, especially when compared to area hotel rooms!
