| Not bad

By user-6065427... on 2017-10-23.

Well maintained with friendly staff and good facilities.; great wifi coverage; some spaces are a little narrow, but I think they are more for overnighters, which we were. Would stay here again. No pickleball court.

| A nice stop

By user-5430661... on 2017-10-23.

We got in after dark so the park was pretty full. To get to the park you drive through residential streets. the sites and roadways were tight for our 33ft with tow vehicle. not a lot of extra room getting through the park but doable. Hot tub jets was not working during this visit.. Alternating directions on the pull through so you share the hook up with you neighbor, which isn't bad unless your neighbor accidentally unplugs your electrical...

| Lovely flowering hedges, privacy, but NARROW!!!

So far this is the prettiest campground we've been to. The flowering hedges were about 6 feet high or so, and between every campsite and along the front of the park. Gave great privacy, lots of birds twittering. Don't know if the flowers bloom for long--probably not quite as pretty without the flowers. Downsides: NO breeze because of bushes. Our AC is too loud when it kicks on for me to use at night, and even with a strong fan, it was so hot I only got an hour sleep. I would never stay here again during warmer months unless I had really, really good AC. But winter months are probably nice. Also I wouldn't stay long, or with a big rig: our older class A has no slideouts, but there was only about 4 feet on one side and 3 feet on the other between the motorhome and the hedges. No real room for the kids to play, and picnic tables have to be at the end of the hedgerow--very inconvenient. I can't imagine staying there with large slideouts! Had the flowering hedges not been so pretty, I'd have probably gone with 3 stars because of the narrow lots. Narrowest I've seen yet. If the lots had been a LOT wider, I'd have given an extra star. KOA store seemed well-stocked, but I only glanced at it. Didn't have time to check out any of the amenities. Overall, a lovely park to stay in before it gets too hot, for just a night or two, and if you don't plan to spend time outside your rv.
