Showed up 4/13/2016 without a reservation and stayed 2 weeks. No regrets. Next door to Nuclear Museum. Close to many historic sites. Basic showers, restrooms and laundry. No frills. Full hookups. Will go back.
Reserved a spot 2 weeks prior to arrival. Got here and it was full, the camp host told us to park in a spot that was being redone. Had a huge hole we had to maneuver around. Guest washroom/bathroom is dirty, has stainless steel toilets like a prison would have and to top that off its is not air conditioned or even swamp cooled. So if you use the restroom be prepared to sweat, and taking a shower would be like a sauna. Not worth it. Would rather have boondocked.
Stayed for one week. Nice RV park, in two separate sections. Older part has level parking, mostly cement foundations and plenty of grass and trees. Some pull-throughs are very tough for big rigs with dinghy. Newer section all gravel. Bigger pull-throughs. Easier big rig parking. No trees. Recommend entry through Eubank gate (open weekdays 5am - midnight, check with security before arrival). Quiet surroundings. Easy access to base facilities (BX - Commissary). Laundry and WiFi Ok.
