Reviews for Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping

| 2016 August visit in 37' motorhome

By user-4693425... on 2017-10-23.

We have returned to this park after a fabulous visit in 2010. It is one of our Top 5 RV parks in the US and Canada because of its location looking out over Passamaquoddy Bay. Sites are a bit narrow 30' but the great thing is sites looking out at the water have hookups on both sides so you can park facing the water or back in. Cell signal is poor, 1x most of the time. There is free WiFi but late in the evening it is hard to get online. The quaint town of St. Andrew's by the Sea is a mile walk, but we'll worth it. Great little shops, restaurants, an harbor are a must to visit. Try the fresh seafood chowder and lobster rolls at any restaurant. Will come back here again and again.

This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed in. Perhaps that's because we had a waterfront site, but the park is meticulous. Washrooms/showers are large and clean. Laundry is $2.50 to wash or dry. Keep driving on Water street to the end of the peninsula, and you will find it. The town is worth seeing too. Lovely place!

| great location for a visit in your RV

Not so much a spot for kids, but this campground is great for adults. Location is right on the seawall on the tip of the peninsula. Sites are close together, and level gravel. An easy mile walk to the center of town. Plenty to do and see in this quaint historic town. Power is 30A, no 50A. Laundry, free wifi. A few "cabins". Well run park. I'd rate it 3 but the location makes it a 4.

| The Best of Saint Andrews by the Sea

We stayed here three nights while visiting St. Andrews. The location of this campground is superb, right on the point with ocean views on two sides. It was a short notice reservation for us and an oceanfront/view campsites was not available for our dates (at least until the tour group of 20 RVs left the morning after we arrived) but the full hookup site was decent enough with a fire ring. Walks along the ocean were amazing at both low and high tide. It's a quick trip into the historic town and the surrounding area. Campground is probably half seasonal sites---all of them beautifully maintained. We had a very strong and fast wifi signal during our time there.

| Large Family Friendly Water Front Park

By user-5409141... on 2019-08-09.

This is a large family friendly park with both pull through and back in sites. Most sites are 30 amp FHU, and good satellite reception. Wifi is available and considering the size of the park works pretty good although slow in the evening I was still able to stream TV. Roads re paved and site are gravel and easy to access. There is a large field for children to play. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Propane purchase is available. Didn't use the showers or laundry. This park is very popular and reservations are highly recommend. Cooked lobster is available and delivered to your site. Town is a short 15 minute walk. We stayed in a 34' class A motorhome.
