When I arrived they had no sites for a 36' class A. They tried very hard to squeeze me in, even calling arrivals to make sure they were coming. We settled for no hookups in level field which was perfectly ok with us. Really nice folks, would definitely stay again. Campsites looked clean, bathroom/shower clean.

Great little campground full of trees. Clean, nice laundry. Really friendly, helpful owners. Very reasonable rates. Best of all was the great nature trail - went way back into the woods, mowed paths, great for pets and people. The only minor complaint might be the lack of wifi, but even that we were fine with. We would definitely return here again!

Now under new ownership/management and re-named Kritters Campground, Larry and Kathy are fantastic hosts putting every effort into making your stay as comfortable as possible. It's a quiet campground with varying amenities from tent camping, water/electric 30-50 amp, full hookups with sewer on selected sites, and cabin rentals too! There's a walking trail and pets are welcome. Sites are level and pull-thru so, maneuvering big rigs is easy. The town of Newberry is just 4+ miles to the south for supplies, restaurants, shopping, etc. We camped the first week of June 2015 and had a BLAST!!! We rate it excellent simply because of the locale and the gracious hosts! Steve, Ruth & Rudy!

Yes, the campground is under new ownership. Now known as Kritter's North Country Campground. This was our first visit since 2014 and the facility and management are as good or better now after the purchace. The campgound has a good mix of sites from tent to diesel pusher pull-thrus. The owners are responsive to email inquiries and really seemed to appreciate our patronage. The location north of Newberry is perfect as a bascamp for visits to Whitefish Point and the Tahquamenon Falls area. We stayed at site #18, a grassy, level, pull-thru site in a Class A motorhome with a toad. We will return!

We stayed for 2 nights. The campgrounds were well maintained, quiet, and pretty spacious. The bathhouse was absolutely spotless.
