Heading north in December, this park was our last stop before winterizing our rig. This is an older, but well maintained KOA. There were a fair number of long term folks, but enough available sites for folks like us who were passing through. The sites were level, electric was good. Didn't hook up to the water, but noticed many spots had heated water hoses so would guess water functioned well. Bathrooms were clean and the showers hot. An off leash dog pen was fine, and it was easy to walk our dog out the pathway towards Walmart. We were in a 25' motorhome and will stay here again in the future. If you're heading east from La Junta, we'd recommend a visit to Bent's Old Fort, a National Historic Site just outside of town.
The staff was not very organized. The campground was very wet and the sites were muddy. The mini golf may be the worst course we have ever seen. Wifi was not good. The showers were nice sized and clean.
It's clean and level. Whatever someone else posts about it being bad, they should just stay in a hotel
We stayed here one night passing through on highway 50. We made a visit to Bend's Old Fort only a few miles away. We enjoyed the owners family at the Saturday night ice cream social. Nice group of very polite and helpful young men. Would definitely stay here again
Stayed here for several days. The wifi worked very well compared to most rv places. The pool is nice. It is a small park, but lots of good size trees, and the bathrooms and showers are clean. And the owner/operator is nice.
Level sites although the are a little small for 40 motorhomes. Excellent staff. We would stay there again. We were there for 2 nights with motorhome towing.
Very nice staff. Our campsite was very nice. Stayed two nights
Sites, though narrow, were level and accommodated our 43 5er. Owner was friendly, check-in was smooth. Great location for Walmart and other stores. Paid $44.50 for one night, a little high in my opinion.
