Fine for an overnight

We stayed overnight on way to FL and back home to TX in 2016 at Christmas/New Years time. It was fine. Staff very friendly. We will do the same this year.

Great stay

Well kept grounds, concrete pads, friendly and helpful staff, and all round enjoyable. The only downside is the highway traffic and train at night. Dog pen is small but clean.

Old, but Ok

The park was a little run down, but it's not bad. It's a little noisy from interstate traffic, but the A/C drowns it out. Spots are tight. Cable was good, wifi not bad when it's not crowded. Overall, kids had a decent time, just a little pricy for what you get. We stayed in a 33' travel trailer.

This the noisest KOA I have ever stayed at. Right next to I-10. I've stayed at highway rest stops quieter than this place. Lot of traffic inside the park, back section full of long term units, constantly coming and going. Never going back....

Great Overnight Stop Location

We live by the 330 rule...no more than 330 miles and off the road by 3:30pm. This fit our schedule. It is right off the interstate, but the noise did not bug us. In fact, the only annoying part were the acorns falling on top of the RV. Nice little dog park. Easy to pull in and out.

Stayed on our way to Florida. A nice park, but a little pricey. They're excuse was that they had things for the kiddies. No kiddies at this time of the year. A little cheaper would of been nicer.

Friendly staff, very clean facilities, paved roads and level concrete pads under large, trimmed high Live Oak trees. Shade was most welcomed. Able to wash unit if want too. It is close to I-10, but easy on, easy off and noise not that bad. Really enjoyed sitting outside in the shade with a view of their large lake. Would definitely stay here again.

We Always Like This Place

We have been camping here for several years. I agree with some that it could be updated a little bit but that never has bothered us. We like the big well-trimmed oak trees that give shade. Most of the other RV parks around are just barren parking lots. This is a great location and close to some good places to eat. The staff is friendly and the facilities - pools, putt putt, boats, pond - are adequate for what we need. We appreciate it not being known as a party park for the locals. Most of those become unruly and noisy on weekends. We have tried several other places. It keep coming back to Scott KOA.

This place needs fixing. It's a hokey place. They have all kinds of site but for a 40 ft rig we put on a small and tight space. Dump not working good. You have to have two people to be able to dump. Will not stay here again.

Long, wide, level pads!

Stayed 1 night only. Front desk staff was very friendly. We asked for a site as far away from I-10 as possible. He put us on #309 in the NEW SECTION. Pads were super long and level. Good distance between our neighbors. Could still hear traffic on I-10, but the on/off access to the interstate was worth it to us. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for three days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The laundry facilities were the best we have seen so far in our travels. They have a new section in the back for bigger rigs so we had plenty of room to maneuver our 44'er. Lots for kiddos to do with paddle boards and boats along with fishing. The only downside is the I-10 traffic noise, but being in the back it was lessened and when in the rv, we never noticed it. But also being so close to the freeway, it made for easy on and off! Next time we are in the area we will be coming back.

We stayed in the newer area and it wasn't as crowded. A great place for kids and there is plenty to do, but if you don't have kids, this place isn't probably for you. The older part is extremely dated. It's difficult to get to if you don't know where you are going. Very pricey. They boast large swimming pools, but both were very small and full.

Nice clean park. Very friendly and helpful staff. We got a lake spot and enjoyed a nice campfire with fellow campers (who brought us some Boudin and Cracklings). Would definitely stay again and for longer.

This was a nice clean spot to stay. The staff was friendly. We got a nice big spot in the back - nice pull thru sites. You can hear a bit of road noise from the interstate. A bit pricey.

We stayed in the new section in the back. Site wasn't perfectly level, but didn't need much to get it to level. Utilities worked fine. The whole park surrounds a fairly big pond. The old section is crumbling and has sites very close together, but lots of shade. Sites in the new section are nicely spaced apart and the patio sites are especially nice with a pergola, patio furniture and a swinging bench. We would stay again.

Lots for families to do. Pools, mini golf, lake, volleyball, basketball. Nice tree-shaded sites, close but not super tight. Decent laundry and bathhouse. One star off for problems with dumping. In the older section, dumping is famously slow and mine backed up and blew out all over the place...first time that happened and hope it never happens again! They seemed unsurprised in the office. I used the dump station.
