| Great for what we needed

Needed an overnight stay just to sleep. We arrived about 11:30 pm on Saturday. All sites were full. We pulled our Rpod down by the boat dock. The ranger pulled up next to us within 5 minutes and we asked if it would be OK to stay just to sleep. He was very nice and said that would be ok. In the morning we got to see how beautiful it was.

We arrived around 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. Spaces by the lake were mostly full and close together. We have a small 24' motor home and didn't need hookups, so we parked in a spot at the top of the hill in the trees. Lovely and quiet, only birds singing and cows mooing! $11. Perfect for us.

This was our family's very first camping experience, and it went great. Lots of kids and a great playground for them to play at. Good level, shaded spots - 30-some w/ full hookups. Would have been easiest to reserve ahead online via the Reserve America site, but we missed the 48 advance reservation window. Just showed up and hoped for the best (weren't traveling from far), and it was fine. Cable was clear, campground really quiet at night...lots of friendly people.

| Very nice park for 1 many nights. Full hookups - electric, water & sewer for $19, electric only for $16. I annoy sure where they got the $23 the app shows!

Could be crowded on weekends during the prime season, but not mid week in late September.
