| Beautiful
This is a beautiful place. We stayed another day. Good walking trails, clean bathrooms & showers, free laundry facilities. Nice concrete pads with wood decks.
| Great Nature Getaway
Gem of a local State Park less then 1 hr. away from the Shreveport-Bossier area. Hiking & biking trails. Clean bathhouse and camping areas. Several of the camping sites have wooden decks. Nice Rally area with screened shelter for group camping or family reunions.
| Disappointed
This park has not recovered since the 2016 flood. There was no water in the lake due to attempts to control the aquatic plant takeover. Grass was mowed down to lake edge which was head high in weeds. Wifi is down since flood. Has lots of potential. Nice trails and decks for camping. Bring lots of mosquito spray.
