A very family friendly campground. It's huge! Very spread out running along a reservoir. There is no swimming but oddly boating is allowed in this water supply that gets piped to many a home. Pets are allowed. We were there only one night but so no off leash area. Tons of playgrounds for kids tho. There are many campgrounds to choose from. Lake views. Shady. Grassy areas or woods. It is so spread out many will feel they need to bike or drive to get to the shower houses or camp store. Toilets are plentiful and never too far tho.

This campground is huge! The only drawback is that the lake is a reservoir and therefore you can't swim in it at all. Good fishing at the lake though and you can rent a boat to go out on the water. The drought has hit this lake hard and now the lake is split into two.

Casitas is a nice place for the week, however don't stay here over the weekend, it's overcrowded. Full of kids, even have 4&5 tents on the R..V sites. Not good..

We are on our way back from Memorial Weekend camping. This weekend the park was packed due to the holiday. We stayed in campground "I" with hookups. Sites here are all dirt, but there are grassy sites at "B", it was just full when I booked. It's a large and lovely campground with many RV and tent sites. There are only two shower houses to serve 15 campgrounds, which is not enough when the RV sites don't offer sewer hook ups. I would stay here again, in B but not I. I do have to mention that we felt nickel and dimed for "extras" like $17 for our friends to join us by car for dinner and campfire one night. Pet fees were higher than most as well, seeing as how there were no dog runs or designated walking areas.

| Nice place

Stayed in the Bass area. Water and electric, spot was slightly sloped but overall nice place with nice amenities. No sewer at each hookup site , however there is a dump station on site. The lake was very low, and no swimming allowed at the lake. Water park tickets are $15 per person 2 and older, and park looks pretty small from the outside. Very near to Ventura and the beach, so we opted to just go to the beach each day. The camp site was reasonably quiet, even though be bumped up against the entry road. We will most likely come again.
