Reviews for Lake Easton Resort

| Great campground with a lot of ammenities.

This campground was the perfect overnight spot for us. We were actually sad that we couldn't stay longer. It has an outdoor pool that is heated to 86 degrees, a playground for kids, gate access to the beautiful state park and lake. Heavily wooded with massive evergreens. Sites weren't too cramped and offered enough space for families. From what we could tell there were no permanent residents there with junky structures making the place look bad, hallelujah! Laundry facilities are good...two washers and two dryers. The manager was incredibly friendly and allowed us to "close up shop" in the laundry room because we had just come from Canada with 5 days of laundry for a family of 5. Definitely appreciated their hospitality. Check-in was fast and navigating the campground with our 55' set up (truck & trailer) was a breeze. Large pull thru sites. We didn't use the shower/bathroom facilities while we were there so I cannot comment on that. The park seems very family and pet friendly. Playground for kiddos was entertaining. Wifi is NOT free and there is a fee to use it, just a heads up. You will not be disappointed staying here.

| Not too bad.

One of the reasons I downgraded this park was the trees. I don't like them! Yes, they give shade but that doesn't make up for the bird poop, leaves, low branches. Getting satellite here is next to impossible. Wifi is Tengo pay as you go. $1.50/24 hours, not unreasonable. I had a wifi adapter that increases range. Don't know how it would be without this, probably not too good. Some sites are very interesting to negotiate. There were MANY open sites but they parked a MH right next to us. I will never understand that philosophy. Very quite. Good ATT.

| Nice park

We spent one night in this park. Nothing fancy but clean facilities and friendly staff. The lake is very close and uncrowded. Showers and lavs were clean. No TV but big deal. Internet is spotty but was there even without using camps wifi. We will use it again.

| Noise and dust

As previously stated quiet time park rules not enforced; dusty; and I90 noise is constant. Pool and showers OK.

| Way Over Priced

By user-5795539... on 2017-10-23.

This place is way over priced... Only a few sites have sewer. Only 30 amp service. Only two sites where you can get satellite - if you are lucky. There is no TV reception and no cable TV. You have to pay for WiFi. We stayed several days. VERY, VERY noisy from the I-90 traffic - all night long. Rules are not enforced... Screaming kids at the pool all day long... Vehicles speed and create more dust. The place is a dust bowl to begin with. Dog owners are not leashing their dogs. Watch where you step - I saw several owners not pick up after their dogs. Barking dogs. Trees hang low and scratch motorhomes. This should not even be a ONE NIGHT STAY. Far away from Seattle. This will be my only visit to this dust bowl.

Had a great time here this weekend. Yes it is by a freeway but isn't horrible(like a fan going). Great time and will be back.

| Tired Lake Easton Resort

Dusty, dirty, severe lack of maintenance to the grounds and facilities, including the pool, bathrooms and showers, and the "clubhouse." Even the pictures on the walls were so tired they hung terribly crooked! I-90 which is conveniently right next to the park, is obviously a noise maker, but becomes background noise after a bit and can be ignored. Children happily played in the pool and rode bikes around so if you don't mind the dirty conditions and you are camping with children perhaps you'll be happy here. I camped here 12 to 15 years ago and remember it being nice. It just simply isn't any more. This time we paid $51, which isn't necessarily expensive, but for what you get it kinda is. Also they had space for a one night stay on a Saturday in July, which can be hard to find last minute, and says something as you probably know if you've ever looked for last minute RV places in Washington This place will satisfy the need if the beautiful, well-maintained state parks nearby are full, which they usually are peak season, but I will never choose Lake Easton "Resort" again.

| Very tired looking park

If we weren't coast 2 coast members, we would've never stayed here, especially not for $51! We got there right at 4:45 just add they were closing, even though we were told 5pm. We found out spot only to have to hold tee limbs back so add to not scratch out rig, then ti find out the electrical post had an open ground wire, so we hooked in to the post for the next site since it was available. Thankfully it was ok with no problems. Told the lady the next morning about it, she said she'd have maintained look at it. No one ever came while we were there the whole 3 days. We did use the laundry room, which s 2 washers and dryers, but was told we'r had to shake the machine to Gerry the money to lay differently because it was stuck and wouldn't start without doing this! Then we went to use the pool which eas may looking again another excuse was they would be having it cleaned in a couple of days! There is a gate you can go through to get to the state park( which I would choose ove this park for only 30 a night with full hom ups! ) sadly I don't expect this park to last if they don't clean it up.
