I was informed of a child drowning and it only took 1 hour to find the mother. Another camp where the kids are not supervised. WOW!!
| Beautiful Park
This is a very nice state park. It has many things to do, but I would not come back. It is not $29 for an RV site. It is $36 for a site with no water or sewer hookup. You can find a full service RV park for that price. Everyone was very nice, so you choose.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a Washington County Park located on the eastern side of the Twin Cities, and is a perfect get-away for all campers and nature lovers. We offer a variety of camping areas, from the Modern Campground that has 76 sites with electricity that are able to accommodate anything from tents to trailers, to primitive hike-in sites as well as 20 rustic sites in the Equestrian Center and four sites that are ideal for group camping. You'll never run out of fun things to do at Lake Elmo! Enjoy relaxing on the beach, or cooling off in the water. Take a dip in our sand bottom, filtered and chlorinated swim pond where there are lifeguards on duty between Memorial and Labor Day. The park includes an archery range where you can practice your aim, a fishing pier and boat launch on Lake Elmo, turf trails for riding your horse, mountain biking, hiking. In the winter enjoy the Nordic Center and showshoe or ski on lighted cross country skiing trails. The kids will love spending time at the playground, and the whole family will enjoy the Saturday evening campfire programs. In the local area you will find many beautiful drives in teh St. Croix River valley! If you're looking to relax and relish in the tranquility of nature, Lake Elmo Park Reserve the vacation destination for you!
