| Awesome - esp for families
Clean tidy campground - well kept with big sites and plenty of room to spread out. Great amenities. Skate park, hiking and mountain biking trails, playgrounds ball fields creeks big lake with paddle boats fishing and a pontoon boat ride, small waterpark perfect for elementary aged kids, a carousel and lots of picnicking sites. Can't believe the value for something centrally located near all of NOVAS attractions and just 30 minutes from Washington dc! Only downside is there is a potable water and dump station instead of individual hookups at each site there is however electricity at more than 50 different sites. This place would be great for a youth group or family reunion.

Didn't get a shady spot, but there are quite a few of them. Bathrooms and shower rooms are air conditioned, which is good. Water park is only open on weekends (losing lots of $ if you ask me) , and even then is provisional. Nice grounds too.
Only reason I rated it 3 stars is because there are no water or sewer hookups at the site, only electric. There is however, a dump station and an ability to add water. Very clean and quiet park. Gravel sites and plwnty of room between sites, each with a picnic table and a fire ring. We would definitely stay here again.
