They allow one pet and only one as long as they are under 50 pounds. We were refused because we had one greyhound who weighed 54 pounds. In my opinion this is not pet friendly.
Had a great stay in one of the more secluded spots on the hill. Friendly accommodating staff put me in the golf cart and let me pick from a few different spots. Right across from Lake Junaluska, convenient to Maggie valley, Waynesville, Cherokee and so on... Would stay again!
Host are friendly and park is quite. The sites are not as close together as the parks farther up Hwy 19 and we like that. Great level walking trail just across the street at Lake Januluska Assembly. We stay at this park anytime we are in the area.
Awesome campground in between Cherokee and Asheville. Easy to Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville and I-40. Spots in the “meadow” are set up for the larger 50 amp units and get the best wifi. Spots up on the hill are for the smaller units and 30 amp. The “mezzanine” spots are the best and also cost more. Those are close to the bath house and laundry. Within the park there is a nature trail and benches overlooking the lake. Tent camping and firewood is also available. Across the street you have access to the pool and kayak/canoe rental. Within a few miles each way are Food Lion and Ingles supermarkets, and K mart and Walmart. If you are a light sleeper street noise in the lower section may be an issue for you.
This is a small somewhat cramped park that is right next to the highway. It is part of a resort but the restaurants and other activities are on the other side of a four lane highway. We just stayed one night the rate of $35 a night with full hookups and cable tv was nice
Nice, clean small park next to hwy with full hook ups and good cell/wifi/cable TV. Short drive to Maggie Valley and Blue Ridge Parkway.
A clean and nice size campground just across the street of Lake Junaluska in Clyde, NC. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. One draw back was the 30 amp sites were located along the busy streets but would stay there again.
Nice place, great cell service ATT, even better WiFi, 30 amp service backins, backs up to a noisy busy street. We had a lovely terrace site, The bathrooms were dated, old and filthy, even when asked to mop, never done. The hosts were pleasant and I was told the campground was to be redone next year, Close to town, Publix, Walmart and ingles Make sure you go to buttered biscuit cafe
