Not the best site I've stayed but decent enough. The guys at check-in were really nice & friendly. We were on a water & electric site at the back. The sites have a nice view of the lake but are quite close together. That said, everyone around us was pretty quiet so noise from other campers wasn't a problem. But talking about noise, the highway is very close so you do hear the road through the night. The only other issue with the rear camp site is that the bath house is in the front site, so quite a walk from back site.
| Quiet, easy on/off I40
Quiet, somewhat rural campground right off I40. Small lake for swimming, fishing. Level sites. Helpful staff. Nothing fancy, but excellent option for a stop off the highway or for a quiet, peaceful getaway. No evidence of loud partying referred to in other reviews. Cash or check only.
