We had a pleasant experience camping at Lake Manchaug. Lake is clean, great boating and swimming. Quite at night and clean grounds. We had quite a different experience than the last review here. Owners were very accommodating, both were nice people. Bill delivered our firewood right to our site instead of having to unload and go back for it… was given free donuts by his wife upon departure Sunday morning. My son caught a small bass during our stay too, added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Also looked into the last reviewer because our family couldn’t feel more different than their review. He/she must be very hard to please; out of 9 campgrounds they visited, they gave 1 star to 7 of them paired with not so nice things to say as well. Good luck to em.

When we called he asked how many people we had and told us we could only pay in cash. We ended up canceling because of it being sketchy. Also they charge you for wifi and the intentionally have cell blockers up.
