Reviews for Lake Mayfield Resort & Marina

We just bought our 1st camp/travel trailer 2 weeks ago. We were able to get in here for memorial day weekend at short notice. When we checked in the place was pretty packed but had no problem getting to our spot (a back in site). The sites are pretty tight and packed together but I suppose most RV parks are probably this way to maximize spots for space. The only problem we really had with our spot was it was a slight uphill grade backing in with the sewer hook up in the back. Our drain sits pretty low so when it was time to dump and flush, it was kind of a chore with the drain tube being uphill. Other than that we have no other "not so good" things. They keep the bathrooms/showers very clean! I was impressed. For me to be impressed with the b-rooms is a lot! I am a super clean freak when it comes to bathrooms. They had music/dancing from 8-10pm in their large covered patio area so it gave the kids some entertainment while it was pouring down rain. This was nice so the whole family didn't have to be cooped up in the trailer/under the awning all evening. All in all its a nice place. Just a change for me due to I am making the change from tent primitive style camping to RVing. This brings me to my next comment. They have some very cool "pack-in" tent sites on their little island. I'm sure we will stay here again for a quick weekend getaway.

Neat, clean and comfortable. We stayed at Lake Mayfield for 8 days. It was at the end of the season so it wasn't crowded and I can see how it could have felt a little tight if all sights were full, but there is enough room between each site to be comfortable. The roads are asphalt, the sites are gravel and the area in between is nice green grass. I didn't see anything that wasn't kept up nicely. Wifi was good and Verizon cell signal was good. The area is beautiful. On a clear day you can see Mt Rainier and/or Mt. St. Helen's from almost anywhere you go on Hwy 12. We would come back again.
