Yes there's ATV Trails in the area. You do have a choice of whether to park close to the trails or not. The lake is very nice. The sites were fairly level. We enjoyed our visit.

This is the worst campground

This is the worst campground I've ever stayed at. ATV racing up and down through the campground until late at night and stand up early in the morning racing around making tons of noise early in the morning before 8:30am. You couldn't sleep at night or sit out during the day because the ATV's so much dust and noise. I give this camp ground 0 stars.

Nice quiet lake with lots of birds only $15

Park at the end of the camp ground away from the ATV roads. Right on the lake with water and electric. Variety of campsites. Dump site is before you get to the camp ground. Would come again. This was April during the week so we saw no ATVs.

Monday, no reservation, found a great site with water and electricity. #4. Next to the water, nice view. $15, or $10 with senior pass.

Excellent, quiet, friendly campground host, and only $10 with a Senior Pass. Only stayed one night as we were on the road to elsewhere, but will definitely return!

Stated this campground last night and really did not wanna leave today. It's only 3 miles off of I40 but you think you're in the middle of a Prairie ranch in Texas! There were only 3 Campers there and for $10 you can't beat it. 30 amp hook UPS along with water. A dump station as you exit the park. Highly recommend for some peace of mind and quiet off the beaten path

Tons of birds!!

This place is very peaceful with singing birds in the trees. However, it's very run down. The water faucet leaks horribly, bathrooms very rough shape. It's honor system pay, 25 bucks. They allow atvs in some areas, so they made some noise. Very tall weeds, be careful with your dogs.

Good quiet overnight

This campground is Very basic. It has a showerthat never got really warm but it was a shower. The price is right at $10 a night. A perfect spot for an overnight stay in a wooded area. It looked much better than some of the other options in the region and was.
