Gorgeous park with 18 miles of walking trails, boat docks, beach, and lots of space. Big, level gravel back in sites, with large picnic table, grill and fire pit. Clean bathhouse with newer laundry machines. ($1.00 wash, 1.00 dry) Two playgrounds for the kids, although they are geared towards younger ones (3-7 year-olds.) I came in April 2015 and it was great! Also, there are two observation towers, and some cultural and historical information, complete with plaques and signs. Very well done, informative, and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to camp. Oh, and there's an archery range too!
