And will stay here again this year, in April because we like it. We stayed during the week and not crowded, apparently only the weekends. There is a loop for hookups, more loops for non-hookups. We enjoyed the environment of oak trees, the birds, and it was clean, the rest rooms and separate showers were new and clean. Very quiet. The sites are in a hill area so not all sites are level, but paved. A couple of the sites had peekaboo glimpses of the lake below. The campground is fairly close to Oroville and various stores. With our 27’ Airstream, we felt this campground better for us than the other state parks nearby, which seemed more crowded.
North of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Pentz Road; left on Pentz Road, take a right at campground entrance sign, proceed to Kiosk.
