Stayed at the park one night. It is no longer affiliated with Campingworld or KOA. It is a private campground "Lake Park Campground ". $25 per night (Visa, debit, cash), full hook-ups. Great value and they're working on making improvements to the park. Check in at the campground office.

This campground is now managed by the neighboring Camping World. They don't take reservations but it is a large campground and they have never sold out. Register first at the Camping World store and then pick a site. With a Good Sam discount, we paid $22.50 (including taxes). The campground was formerly a KOA and could use some improvements but it was good enough for overnighting and the price was right. The cable doesn't work but the wifi was quite good. We would stay here again if passing through.

| If I could give it more stars...

I would! We stopped here overnight on our vacation because of a water issue with our rig. We spoke to the people at Camping World but since it was Sunday nobody from service was in to look. So we went next door and purchased a site for the evening. ($22.50 with military discount) the parked us next to the lake. Very nice grounds. Quiet and peaceful. We were able to catch up on laundry and get showers (both very clean). Everyone we spoke to was very nice. The next morning we drove our MH next door and the service dept had the problem diagnosed and corrected and had us on our way with a full tank of fresh water in just over an hour. They saved our trip. Would definitely go back.

Earns its stars with friendly staff, clean grounds, clean bathhouse. Bathhouse warmed by space heater adequate, was low 30s. Pool enclosed from bugs would be nice in warm wx. Lots of pull thru sites. One turn rather tight w 32 ft C with tow

I stayed here in my 25' MH on 9/25/17. I explained to the woman when I called ahead, I was looking for a nice, safe overnight, with electricity and that was satellite friendly; that I was female traveling alone and would be arriving at sunset. She was friendly and accommodating and put me "up top", which suited me just fine under the circumstances and considering I was just an overnighter. Easy in and easy out. If I hanging around or had kids, I'd request the lower (older) section of the park as it has a more "camping among the trees" feel. I did drive through that area before departing and really liked it, but it's definitely not satellite friendly. As far as location...it's conveniently located off the highway, but if you are sensitive to highway noise, you might have issues. I did not even notice it and slept like a baby. There is a fishing pond for guests (catch and release), shuffleboard and horse shoes. There is also an enclosed pool (which seems to be a "thing" in this part of the U.S.). The restroom was clean...I can't vouch for the showers. My site was close to the office, so had strong enough WiFi that evening, but it was slow that next morning. I use my data anyway, so that wasn't an issue. There is no cable as some have pointed out. I never hook up to cable anyway, but the woman volunteered the local cable provider went belly up and no one has stepped in to take its place, so they haven't been able to find a provider so they can offer it. My asphalt site was a pull thru with FHU and fairly level (didn't use blocks). There was a picnic table. I am pretty discerning when it comes to RV Parks, especially when I'm solo, and I felt very comfortable here. It's a bit older, but I wouldn't hold that against them as it's rather charming with all the mossy trees and the pond. There is new ownership and it was evident he is in the process of sprucing up the place. There are some cabins that are being updated. It's obvious some of the older reviews are before this new owner took over...it sounds like the place was pretty run down...he just needs time to get it back up to its former glory. I'd stay here again when passing through!

There was a sign off the highway, $25. But it's wrong and they said it should have been removed. Was $32.40, no discounts. Level spot. Nice Campground. Was at camping world and decided to not continue South.

| Pretty Park But LOUD Traffic Noise

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-03-08 to 2019-03-09

On beautiful lake beside I-75. Convenient but LOUD. Loudest traffic ever experienced at a campground, but if you come in the summer and run fans and AC, that might drown out the noise.
