Great park
By user-5869218... on 2017-10-23.
We have stayed here many times. Free showers, nice flush toilets, no shade but sites are nice size. Would not recommend for units longer than 30 feet. It is quiet, camp host was friendly. Stayed last 4-16-16 to 4-18-16.

$24/nite for electric. Dump station and water available. Large spaces with shaded picnic tables. Friendly Rangers! . Showers and restrooms are good. Over air TV yields lots of channels. Good Verizon coverage.

Nice park
By user-5879671... on 2017-10-23.
We were able to stay overnight prior to the Holiday weekend. Well spaced sites with 50 amp electric, picnic tables and shelters that were placed to shield the afternoon sun. Our site was not on the water but had a lovely view of the lake. Quiet on a Friday afternoon, but I'm sure a zoo on the weekend. Would stay again if in the area.

Pleasant during the week.

Stayed for two nights during the week. Lots of space. Site had a fire ring, table and a much needed shade awning. Too windy during our visit for a fire.
Camphosts were friendly and have fire wood for sale.
Site is paved where you park and gravel else where.
Bathroom and shower are one room which is nice. Water was warm and bathrooms were clean.
We were hoping to rent a boat but least expensive one was $180.

We pulled in shortly before sunset on the Thursday before memorial day weekend. The forms in the box to fill out and pay we’re not in there so we drove out to the lake and just camped in a primitive site. The site met our needs for a quick overnight stay, the only knock on the campground was the early morning Flying of parachutes with the big motors on their back started buzzing pretty early in the morning. It looks like it could get pretty hectic the trailer is next to us had nobody and him look like they were just saving spaces for the holiday weekend.

Yucca Flats
By user-4724143... on 2019-08-09.
We loved our stay in the Yucca Flats area campground. It has a great play ground for the kids, Fire Pit, picnic tables and was close to the restroom area which included showers all of which were clean. Thank you CPW for taking care of the campgrounds like you do.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was extremely hot when we arrived and also very windy. The sites are really nice with electric and water was close by every few sites. Beach wasnt open and bummed we couldn't take a dip. Pueblo is really close and convenient . We'd stay again if ever in the area.

Located on a reservoir so lots of campers coming in with boats and water play; hiking & mountain-biking trails; good for walking dogs when ground cool enough; single-person toilet/shower combos; adequate "bathhouse" but no hand soap; community water spirits; camping rates higher on weekends; will pay entry fee in addition to camping fee!
