Reviews for Lake Raystown Resort & Lodge

| Nice park

This is a very nice park, my only complaint, like several other parks, is a 11 am checkout on Sunday. Also, if coming from Breezewood, take 30W to 26N. My GPS took me a crazy route over the mountains.

This is a resort with camping; There are lots of different things to do here: boating, Waterpark, dining, playgrounds, swimming. The sand beach forvswimming is nice but, the swimming was treacherous. They have cemented the "floor" of the swimming area of the lake and algae has covered it making it extremely slippery to wade into the water. The restrooms are badly in need of maintenance (leaky toilets, peeling paint, worn out tile). Forget the WiFi and don't bother to call guest services regarding this, they will tell you they have no idea who to contact regarding the issue. Our campsite was ok, but watch for the state plant, poison ivy, there it is all around. By the way, no sewer hookups.
