What a beautiful place to camp. Electric and water at each sire. Huge marina. Very large lots for 45ft. rigs. Hike the shoreline about 3 miles.

We spent four nights at the campground in mid June. It was well maintained- nice hiking trails, clean restrooms, nice sized and mostly level camping spots. A small store is at the marina but there are two nearby towns for groceries. Would definitely come back. We did an interesting free tour of the nearby Garrison Dam Power Plant. Didn't make it to the Fisheries though. Maybe next time.

Pulled into the park around 4pm on a Friday - they found us a space. All of the modern FHU sites are water/electric but there is a large dump station on exit. Lots of grass and trees. Only wish list item would be that the gravel slips were just a little wider. We would definitely stay here again.

The rangers at this park were the nicest and most helpful we've EVER encountered! Campsites in our area were very spacious, and we got a beautiful lake view spot. Pads are gravel and level. Cute little flickertails (a type of ground squirrel that looks like a miniature prairie dog) were entertaining to watch. Wish we could have stayed longer.
