Great county RV park setting on a lake.

Enjoyed the view and water park; BUT
By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23.
the bathhouses in the Claystone Campground were NOT cleaned (for 4 days!); spider webs and spiders in the bathroom stalls (looked like they had been there awhile); cockroaches; no TP for last 2 days; water in showers was so hot the children were crying when bathed. Some men came to clean the Men's bathhouse; but the Women's bathhouse was never entered by them. Why couldn't they block the door for 20 minutes to clean, sweep away the spider webs (or wash them away with that hot water)....? (Memorial Day weekend 2017)

Beautiful spot. Empty during the week off season. Bridges on main road only have 10T weight limit, so you have to use the neighborhood streets to get here with many Class A. Believe your RV GPS, if using one. No turn around on the main road where it states the limit. Pull through spots have lots of room between them. Concrete pad. Office and gate are disconnected and have to call each other for everything. No computer to connect them.

Small, quiet campground.

The sites are nicely spaced with lots of trees and grass. The only con is that the sites are hit and miss as far as level / length. My husband used quite a few blocks to get level side to side. But once that was done we had a very nice site with a beautiful view of the lake. Just drive through the park first to see which sites are suitable for your needs.
In my opinion, the highlight of this park is the two lovely ladies staffing the gate. They always had a kind word and a smile on their face. Miss Caroline is there in the daytime. I don’t believe I’ve ever met a sweeter, more cheerful person.
It was a pleasure to stay there for 3 days. We have a 31 ft motor home and used site 24.

Clean quiet small campground with view of beautifull lake. Full book ups make sure to use water pressure regulator. Excellent hiking trails, disc golf course...we stayed in a pull thru with our 39foot Class A and toad. We absolutely loved it here!

Very nice campground and reasonable rate. Very accomodating and helpful staff. Only thing we didn't get warned about was the load limits on the two bridges on the Mosely Dixon road by the marina that you have to cross th get into the campground. The largest I spotted as I crossed was 18T ....... a FAR different that what my 45ft class towing a 6T F-150! Would go back again but via a different route. Oh, and the water supply is in a valve pit under grade so it's a little inconvenient to attach your pressure regulator and external water filter. A 45 degree adapter would have been very helpful.

Stayed 3/17/19 and 3/20/19. Pretty area is the best I can say. No info beyond a map is given at check in. All sites very unlevel except for site 40 and up. Laundry facility very old with rusty machines but the charge $2 wash and $2 dry. Many sites are configured so that they're difficult to get into. Some the picnic table is on the wrong side - sane side as the hookups. We camped in a Class A motorhome.
