One of our new favorite spots. Only stayed one day and night but loved it. Cleanest park and bathhouse I ever seen. We went swimming in the lake, nice beach, friendly staff. Spots are not on top of each other. Only electric hook up but we loved it. Stayed one night in a trip to Yellowstone
Traveling back from yellowstone stop over night stayed in the east side had reservation no one around to tell us how to get to east campground we went to the west nobody at gate to tell us where the east campground was no maps or anything but the campground was nice and level after we found it Need to gave maps of the park if nobody going to be at the gate
Very nice sites. We were at the East camp ground, and like previous person, had a little difficulty finding the entrance. (Go south of west entrance, turn left at next road, and turn at Lake Vermillion sign at bottom of hill. Continue down road past parking lot. Camp host will be by to greet you). Dump station is in the North camp ground, but there is clean water hook up right before entering east camp past the parking lot. We will definitely be using as a stop over along our travels in the future.
Driving out to Rushmore and found this as an option near Sioux Falls. Very clean pull off sites. No need to unhook tow trailers. Electric and Water at site. Cheap like 30$ for a night.
