Great park..our site(15) was right by the water and the spots were large. Make sure you have rabies info for your pets. Watching the sunrise and sunset were so spectacular and there is a nice trail down by the water to walk.

*** No water hookup on the sites *** Be sure to fill your fresh water tank before setting up on your site. I would have given them 5 stars if they had water hookup on sites, ************************************* Best of the State Parks on US west end of Lake Ontario (Fourmile Creek (No privacy and crowded) Hamlin (not close to the lake and very wet when it rains) Camp store is only open on Fri,Sat and Sun. Shop in Albion to the south (Walmart, Tops etc) This is in farm country so lots of local fruit stands in the area. Camp laundry room is clean and well maintained. A Loop is to the west and is the most exposed to the wind. A, B, C & D loops are shaded by lots of trees. We could not find a place to place our satellite dish. Nice sized sites and good spacing with some privacy. Our site was not very level and we had to put the trailer closer to the campfire reducing usable space. Dump station has 3 slots and worked very well. Lake Ontario State Parkway ends in front of the park, do not use it! It is very rough. Hwy 18, Roosevelt Hwy is 2 lane but well maintained. During possible hail storms the local farmers use hail cannons. They are very loud and may catch you off guard if you have never heard them before. We stayed in a 28 ft travel trailer.

| No swimming, no water or sewer hookup

The good! Sites are wooded with lots of shade and areas are kept clean. However I would pass on staying here again. You can not swim, there are no water or sewer hookups. Bathrooms are dirty! Hard water pressure with one water temperature. The laundry area is dirty with very old dirty units as well as no AC in the laundry room which makes it quit hot on a 90 degree day!

Have stayed here several times from May to Oct. Stayed in loop A and B. Sis more open with lake views but can be very windy . B loop is very shady. Sites are fairly large and private. Beautiful sunsets! Bathrooms are cleaned daily, small camp store. No water or sewer but can fill tanks before you park have place to dump tank before you leave. Well monitored, pet and no pet loops. On of our favorite places to go.
