Fun, clean place to stay. Staff are very helpful. Most sites have trees & grassy areas. An "Oasis" in Pahrump! Usually a nice evening breeze to cool things off on a hot day. Third time staying here & will continue coming back!
Stayed here two nights and it's a wonderful place. The sites have ample space and are level. The cost is most reasonable for what you get! The ONLY negative we found was the minute we walked into the casino, we turned around and left due to the smoke smell.
We stayed here after a few days of dry camping in the parking lot at NASCAR in Las Vegas. It was a great contrast with well established landscape and a pretty pond. The walking path is about .6 miles and many ducks, coots and a beautiful Blue Heron call the pond home. We didn't get to the pool or spa, but it looks great. You can also paddle boat out on the water. Full hookups except no cable TV (although there is a cable box), We golfed at Mountain Falls for two days and the course is only about a 10 minute drive from the Lakeside. The casino is walking distance and the restaurant is a typical casino type cafe/buffet. We will return.
This park is our regular get-away. Friendly staff, great sites, and CLEAN! Highly recommended!
I've never given 5 stars for anything but this place is nice. Beautiful park, large paved sites with concrete patio pads. Lots of mature trees and shrubs, tons of grass a fishing lake, pool, playground, CLEAN facilities..can't say enough. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Nothing left to say.
You want, they have it. Gorgeous place. Just wish they had a pickleball court.
Lakeside is a destination as it's about 5 miles from Pahrump and there really isn't too much there. It is a very nice well kept park with a lake, walking trail, paddle boats, a pool, a small casino and great food in the casino. We received coupons for cash off for food, drinks and gambling etc. in the casino. Some sites are a little tight, but we had no problem getting our 40' coach into ours. The on site laundry only takes quarters and there is no change machine in the one we tried to use. 60 miles to Death Valley Furnace Creek. I would stay here again, especially to cool off from the desert heat as it's about 2,500 feet or so.
Was surprised how nice the park is laid out around a big pond in the middle of the park. I was given a standard b/in FHU 50 amp spot for my 42' 5th wheel. Sites are close to each other, but easy to get in for both b/in & pull/thru's. The sites are concrete with a concrete patio. The laundry & bath room are clean & modern. I used my dish for TV and the wi-fi did not work at all. There is a gas station at the park and the office sells your regular camping needs. The food in the casino is not to bad and is cheap enough. When you register you get vouchers for free gambling, food, T-shirt, drinks, so it's like getting an extra $25 discount. If the wi-fi worked it would of gotten a 5 star.
Great park with fun things to do. Ducks are around at all times and they love coming right up to camps. You can rent paddle boats, etc. Small casino on site also with great little buffets and menu items.
