Alabama may be one of the poorest states, but this park is one of the top 10 parks we have ever stayed in. There is a nice lake which allows trolling motors only (no power boats). The sites are level concrete pads, well spaced apart, w/ 50A,water and sewer. The facility is huge including golf course, disc golf course, volleyball, baseball field, etc. Amazing infrastructure for a municipal park.Fishermen will love this place. Profanity and alcohol are prohibited (use coffee cups). There are few campsites occupied at this time and it is truly sublime. I expect that on weekends and high season it is a very active place, but is is very nice. Extremely well maintained. $22/night. has laundry too. Six stars.
A beautiful RV park located on a very pretty lake. Spots are concrete and fairly level. Some spots are short for a big rigs but most will work. I parked a forty foot fifth wheel on spot 6 with room for my truck to park. Full hookups with 50 amps. Park is out of town around 4 miles and Citronelle is a small town. No reservations this time of year. First come first serve and honor pay system cash or check. $22.00 a night is a bargain,
Never again
This is a nice, quaint little park. Pretty lakeside spots. Spots are a little small but are concrete pads that are level. The host, Dwight, met us at the gate at 9:30 p.m. and showed us where to go and helped us get set up. Super nice guy! We only stayed overnight on our way to the beach but will stay again. The only reason for the only 4 stars is bc of the smaller sites
