Our visit was the end of December into January and the place was pretty much empty. Three other sites occupied. We stayed in site #7 which was 20/30 amp with water and sewer. sites are gravel and ours had a cement pad with cement picnic table, grill, and fire pit. There is one bath house with two shower stalls that I would rate marginal, but we didn't use them at any rate. There was also a small laundry building with one washer and one dryer which both worked fine. The river runs along the south edge of the campground, and the lake was no longer there since the dam gates broke back in 2015. Lots of deer visiting the campground and we enjoyed watching them each morning and evening. Gonzales is a nice little town with a Walmart, H.E.B., TSC, and a number of great eateries. An hour south is Victoria with just about anything you might need.
