This park is located on a little lake in a nicely forested area. The sites has water and elctricity (30 amp) and a centrally located dump station. There are 44 sites, and all sites are big and fairly level, some right on the lake shore, and some in the forest. Sites on the inner loop can be a little hard to navigate with bigger rigs. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table. Roads are paved and sites are gravel. The office staff as well as the camp host are all friendly and helpful. On site laundry is the cheapest we have experiences so far - 75 cents for washer and 75 cents for drier, and the drier provides enough time fo dry a full load of laundry. With senior discount and an annual pass (senior) for Georgia state parks, the price for staying in this beautiful park is very reasonable.
Nice and quiet. Only about 10 campers here. Beautiful lake, on site #6 right on the water. #8 would be the best site on the water. Signs say swimming area and on the same pole a sign says Be Aware alligator present!. At night the frogs put on a concert that is amazing.
Nice clean quite park, but no Internet nor could we use our satellite due to so many trees. Difficult to drive though with having so many trees. Just wanted to rest and relax.
