We had a good time at this KOA. It was too close to the road and the train railway and I couldn't sleep well, that's not a real reason to put just three stars because it's not their fault being so close to the train and trucks. I went to the restrooms 3 times (evening, night and morning) and nobody refilled the soap containers and paper towels in 15 hours...
Staff was friendly but the train & highway traffic close by made a lot of noise doing the night. Very close to town, hot springs & shops. Park was nice w/ pull thur sites. Would stay again
Due to the geology of this town the highway and train track run through a slot where everything is located. The park itself is lovely and close to hot springs but be prepared for truck and train noise all the time. Not sure any other location here is significantly better.
Had a site by the office, overlooking the river!!! Had a Patio with grill, table and fire pit !!! good wifi and super friendly Staff!!! Walk to town as well!! ( 35 foot class A motorhome)
Nice clean park. Pull through sites. Easy walk to town and hots springs. Noisy highway and trains near park. Not much choice in this town. Propane on site but no one there could fill my tank. Nice laundry area. I had a stock trailer and Burb that I pull it with that I needed a place to park it. They had an overflow/storage area to park it in but they charged me. All other parks I have stayed at have let me park it for free. Of course they weren't KOA. I avoid KOA whenever possible.
Pur site fronted the river and jad a cement patio with fire ring, table and chairs, and BBQ grill. HEAVEN!
My hubby and I have always enjoyed coming to this KOA. The showers are clean and there is about 5 little individual units. So a lot of privacy. Water is nice and hot. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Have to pay $2 plus for coffee. WiFi strong. Mature trees. Next to road and train. No blowing of horns but trucks with the jack brakes can be annoying for some. Quiet park come 1000pm or before just depends on the time of year!
TIGHT, EXPENSIVE, TIGHT, NOISY, DID I MENTION TIGHT....
