Reviews for Lava Spa & RV Park

| Great spot but missing items

We stayed in spot 12 right on the river. It's a great location but the price seems steep for the fact that there's no table nor pit provided. Also be aware the trains run all night and blast the horns. Pros: Right on river, close to town, scenic, full hookups Cons: Noisy, no pits, no table

| Four night stay

By user-5687191... on 2017-10-23.

I arrived after making reservations to Lava Spa & RV Park requested a space for 40 ft motorhome towing a Jeep that needed 50 amp plug for four nights. When we arrived found only 30 amp plug available with small back in space. Spoke with Shawn who said that there was only the big round plug available (30 amp). I cancelled reservation and had to look for another campground! Shawn apologized for mix up but did not offer any other option. I have to call the owners. I explained in the ad in RV Parky states 50 amp but do not have 50 amp!

This is a great place with all the hookups. 7 of the 15 RV spots are right on the river and in the summer they book up months ahead of time. Located right in town it is a 3 minute walk to everything.

| Very convenient to everything !

We stayed here two nights and had a really good time. We are in a 30 Coach and towing a Jeep. Staff is really nice and seemed eager make sure our stay was a good one. Entering the RV Park was kind of awkward, as there is limited signage to show you were to go or what to do. But the RV Park is directly behind the hotel. You have to then park and go to the hotel to register. The river sites are better, but the site we had was still good for us. The sites on top of the hill are very close to each other, so I would not want to be up there. Those are the cheaper sites. Everything is within walking distance. We drove nowhere once we arrived to our site. Hot springs were amazing.
