Reviews for Lazydays RV Resort

| One night road layover

By user-5331473... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed here because we had a certificate for a free night. Sights are narrow and short. Our 40' RV filled the space all the way to the street. The street we were in (Manatee) is the narrowest and was tricky to get in and out of site. Water pressure and cable TV was good. WiFi worked in our site (#78). Would use this again when passing through the area.

| Great stay

Been here often, since it first opened. Price includes free breakfast and lunch on weekdays, free newspaper, Camping World shopping, and unlimited RV looking. We like it here.

| Great stay close to family

Lazydays RV Resort is a great place to stay. They have a great location and amenities for the whole family.

| Stay if shopping, not for the amenities of the campground

By user-6263071... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-01-21 to 2016-01-24

All sites are back in only, all sites are very close together with narrow roads (expect to ask your neighbors to move cars parked on the road so you can back in your rig) No fire pits, no charcoal Bar-B-Q either. Internet is only available close to the welcome center. Nightly rates are based length of site / your rig. The "free" breakfast and lunch are limited to prepackaged food items. Male shower backed up water due to slow drain. Over all not a camp ground I would stay at again, do to other campground choices in the area.

| I stayed here because I was having routine maintenance on my rig

By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-11-11 to 2015-11-12

We stayed one night late. The park is quite big, 300 back-in sites. Ours was paved but not level and not big (long) enough for our 39 foot fifth wheel and truck. I even called before arriving and asked if my spot would be big enough, and was told yes. There’s grass around the paved area and you’re pretty close to your neighbor. Satellite reception for me was not an issue. The check-in staff was good, they were busy and apologized for my wait. They offer free breakfast and lunch here, but I did not participate in this, no time. I stayed here because I was having routine maintenance done on my rig at the LazyDays shop next door. But other that than that, I don’t plan to stay here again. For me, the sites are too small and the cost too high, $46 for what you get, plus tax.

| Onsite restaurant is fantastic

By user-5256222... on 2017-10-23.

Exit 10 Restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. And open from 3 to 9. Last call for food is 8:30. We've eaten there the past two nights and it really is fantastic food. Sandwiches, fried chicken (with a slightly sweet honey crust), they fry their own potato chips which are wonderful! They make a nachos appetizer with these that is great!! I will eat here if I'm in the area again, even if I don't stay here! The campground is good. Nice pool area. Very clean park. Super employees. They have a service that comes through all the time that will wash your RV (not expensive), a dog groomer, and will fill the LP at your campsites for the cost of the gas plus $5. (only on Thursdays).

| Can't wait to come back

Very well kept. Clean. Pet friendly. Beautiful grounds. All sites are back in.

| Awesome.

Fabulous place. Super clean. Wide roads and spots. Breakfast and lunch coupons. Covered pool and hot tub. On site restaurant.

| Friendly but noisy

By user-5890788... on 2017-10-23.

Low number spaces back up to noisy, busy road. Even with AC on and a sound machine the traffic is noisy. All spaces are back in. Cars parrallel park in front of RV. Extremely friendly staff. Free breakfast and lunch offset pricey lots. Store is very small. Seminars are helpful.

Very nice well kept park. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast and lunch is OK but makes you feel better about the price. Couple of spots are near high traffic road but for the most part excellent lots.

| Good for a short stay

By user-5339389... on 2018-03-14. Stayed 2017-12-16 to 2018-01-23

The park and facilities are clean and functional. Access off the 4 is close and easy without too much road noise. The RV spaces are level but short which causes the longer rigs and support vehicles to encroach on the interior roads. The EWS were well placed but the WIFI was useless. The staff are friendly but lack a sense of urgency for the customer needs (mail, clean-up in laundry, etc). The lunch and breakfast supplied with our stay were redeemable at the RV sales lot which appeared to be the employee cafeteria too. From my experience, the $50 per day rate was overpriced.

| Great for a weekend getaway

Stay here a couple weekends a year. One weekend specifically for the Gasparilla 15k run weekend. Great for a home base to go out and enjoy local Cuban food, ybor city and the local Tampa atmosphere. Been coming here for over 15 years

Small sites, overpriced.

| 2018 Jul stay 37' motorhome

By user-4669508... on 2018-07-06.

We stayed here for 5 nights over the July 4th holiday. We requested a long site, but we're given one of the 38' sites. Unfortunately, our long rig backed up to another very long rig in the opposite site, which was way over parked his site. This left almost no room for our tow parking in front. Larger sites on the perimeter of park! Close to Lazy Days RV showroom and vast service department if you need repairs. Picked up a great Denver mattress in the store! Nice pool, 2 restaurants on site, close to I4 and I75. Will stay again.

| Too small and too costly

By user-5729521... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-07-02 to 2018-08-05

Met some friends there for only a couple of nights. If you use a tow dolly you have to unload your vehicle and leave the dolly in the front parking lot. No pull thrus. Sites small and close together. Onsite food service slow and not worth it. Waste of money.

| Best RV Park I have been too

By user-6044062... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-08-11 to 2018-09-15

Love this place. Just returning from trip up north where we stayed at several diff RV parks. Pulling into Lazy Days was like a breath of fresh air... sites are great, cement pads (which NOBODY had during our travels), well kept grass at every site along with new picnic tables...again something not many parks take good care of. Baths are clean and they have the best well kept screen enclosed very large pool along with bar and great little restaurant alongside... of course being here in September is the best time as park isn t even half full.. we love this... and we are next door to Lazy Days where we have appt to have some work done on our RV and maybe even look at improving our current Coach!

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-03-10 to 2019-03-14

level spots, but everything is straight back in not angled and sites are short. We had to ask 2 campers to move tow vehicles to get in our spot with our 40 ft 5er. Price is good for in season FL No WiFi Avail at our site, their literature says for best results go to office for wifi. We would stay again if in Tampa area.

| Not big rig friendly

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-06 to 2019-04-08

Not optimal for big rigs. We got a 45' site, the biggest offered, for our 45' rv, and the front was still out in the street. No room for toad. Sites also very narrow.

| Nice park

By user-5936088... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-17 to 2019-07-21

Great pool rec hall is fantastic clean park friendly staff great activities for kids on the weekends. Planned weekends for kids to do stuff. Restaurant needs some improvement on food service that would be my only complaint. This is a local place for us we go several times a year but the worst time at the restaurant we will be going somewhere else if we decide to eat out have given it 4 tries and no improvement. We will be back
