This was the badest place on our journey! It was very noisy! Barking dogs and crying kids during the night wasnt very comfortable. restrooms werent very clean. Wifi was very slow but ok. We were happy to leave this place the next day! We wont go in KOA parks anymore.
Good location just outside the Bravarian theamed village of Leavenworth Washington. A must experience. As with most KOAs the campground space was maximized, the staff friendly and helpful, and the price on the higher end. Quiet setting in a pine woods away from the highway near the Wenatchee river. We did hear a train early each evening. We did not make use of the pool, hot tub, showers or game room. But did get our weekly laundry done
We happened upon Leavenworth during Octoberfest and had a wonderful time. This KOA is in the process of expanding and is a very large park with a lot to offer, including close location near town. Be prepared to pay the price, but plan to stay awhile too.
This place used to be nice but they have crammed more and more sites in and they are VERY tiny (our sewer hook up was UNDERNEATH our neighbor s picnic table! Gross!)and the extra charges for an extra person, a tent, or a pet were pretty steep. It s noisy at night when the campground is full and no one really enforced the quiet hours while we were there so we had to listen to a large group party half the night. Their little cabins are decent and well spaced but we will never stay here in an RV again.
As usual when checking in they wanted us to buy their loyalty card. We declined as we only stay at KOA s as a last resort. Tiny little spaces...they had to move the tent of the guy next to us so we could get in our spot . This is the most we have EVER paid and is one of the smallest spots we have ever been in. Water and electric only for $72!
First off KOA changed their entrance, Google Maps has not caught up, takes users to a dead end road. Second, office is at the back of the park, forced to zigzag narrow winding streets. Third, big rigs must disconnect out side the park, big rigs with trailers cannot negotiate the tight quarters. Kudos to KOA staff for coming to our rescue, all have been helpful to finding a solution to our problem.
