nice quiet,clean campground. very shady

This park is extremely clean and quiet which was super nice. They were incredibly accommodating for our motorcycles and helped us with unloading at a convenient spot. The biggest complaint we had was surrounding the pool. You aren t allowed drinks or food at all- not even in yeti or metal cups. We also were told we weren t allowed to bring a floating tube into he pool (a small one meant for a pool) as a child could get caught under it and drown. When we tried to talk to the women about it she told us that if we argued she would ask us to leave the premises. A seasonal person hinted that they had some injuries and problems last year but I feel like the rules were a little unreasonable. Even the little kids weren t allowed to jump in from the edge feet first and they had their pool toys taken away from them. this is a fantastic campground to go to if you don t plan to spend time at the pool and want to spend most of your time at your campsite or exploring the surrounding area.
Wow, what an amazing stay! We are on a two year adventure across the US, Canada, and Mexico and encountered truck problems in Lake George. We needed a place to stay while our truck was being worked on and we stumbled upon Ledge View RV Park. Patty, Kevin, and Sharon were all amazing. We were unsure how long we would need to stay, but Patty was able to accommodate us quickly and get us into a great spot that we didn't need to worry about leaving. On the truck, we needed to replace the engine or purchase another truck. We decided to fly home, buy a truck and drive back. Patty even drove us to the airport in Albany! The customer service that we received was absolutely amazing. We were treated like family by every member of staff at the park and even by the fellow campers. Patty bent over backwards to accommodate us, give suggestions, advice, and more. The entire staff helped take a stressful situation and turn it into a positive experience. The RV Park is immaculate everywhere. The spaces were very well maintained and the restrooms/shower house was super clean, even cleaner than my bathroom at home! The showers had great hot water and spray which made you want to linger. The sites have water, power, and septic to them and the water was like pure spring water and tasted awesome! The Camp Store was full of everything that we needed (and then some). The pool was a great spot to relax and soak in the sun or read a book and the Rec Hall was full of any type of game you wanted. We felt like we never wanted to leave. The location is perfect and located close to everything, but off the beaten path so it is quiet and private. Once we drove our new truck back to Lake George and picked up our trailer we stayed at Ledge View again to get setup and continue our adventures. We stayed here twice for a total of 8 days and this is the ONLY place we will stay when traveling through this area again. Thank you Patty, Kevin, and Sharon!!
Surrounded by tall pines, sites are pull through and nicely spread out. Quiet. We had full hookups including cable tv. Internet was spotty. Staff was friendly and pleasant.
